We didn't necessarily need another Buck, but this guy, and his impeccable pedigree, impressed us so much we couldn't say no! His pedigree includes some very famous faces, some brand new to Three Oaks, and some are our favorites! The JCS 35 line is a very rare and sought after pedigree by die hard Savanna breeders who want true South African standards. The thought of JCS 35 crossed on our favorite Doe of all time, Penny, gave us chills!!! On Ketch's bottom side we bring in the lovely Doe Carissa. This girl was bred by Leo Deutsch in Oklahoma. Her sire, 4C 2010 "Bull" is DNA verified. She has a strong top line, good length in loin, strong pasterns, dark pigment, and a deep chest. Carissa's daughter-lot 37, sold for $3700 at the 2020 Savanna Spectacular auction. The future of our breeding program looks incredible as we are thrilled with the Kids he is throwing!!! Between his incredible mass at a young age, his jet black pigment, his bone, just WOW!
